Desde REVE, Asociación Cultural REVE (Red Española de exVoluntarios Europeos).  se pusieron en contacto con nosotras para publicar nuestro blog y una breve descripción de nuestros proyectos en el boletín bimensual.

Podéis estar al tanto de novedades y de la publicaciones de los boletines en su página de facebook.

Es una gran ayuda contar con toda la información útil que nos dan desde la web y facebook. 

A través de los boletines nos mantienen informados sobre secciones como: erasmus+, iniciativas solidarias, becas, recursos para el futuro, experiencias de voluntarios y expectativas de futuros SVE.

En Letonia la celebración de la fiesta del solsticio de verano, o Jani (Juan), sigue siendo la fiesta mas antigua y querida, marcada con gran entusiasmo en todo el país. Es una celebración única en toda Europa. Las celebraciones normalmente arrancan el 22 de junio, continuando con el dia de Ligo el 23 de junio y Jani al día siguiente, 24 de junio.

In Latvia the celebration of the summer solstice festival, or Jani, remains the most ancient and beloved holiday, marked with great enthusiasm throughout the country.
It is a celebration unique in Europe.
Celebrations typically kick off on June 22, continuing with Ligo-Day on June 23 and Jani the following day 's June 24th.  

Según la antigua tradición, la noche más corta del año se debe pasar estando despierto toda la noche por el resplandor de las hogueras cantando canciones, bailando, bebiendo cerveza, saltando sobre el fuego... a la espera de la salida del sol. La creencia es que los que van a dormir antes de la salida del sol en Jāņi estarán adormilados durante todo el verano.

According to ancient tradition, the shortest night of the year must be spent by staying awake all night by the glow of the bonfire singing sons, dancing, drinking beer, jumping over fires...waiting for the sunrise. The belief is that those who go to sleep before sunrise on Jāņi will be sleepy all summer long.

 ¿Recuerdas nuestra actuación en Ruso, en el teatro JORIK, dentro de la actividad "Invitación a la poesía", dentro del marco de "Días de Letonia de la cultura Rusa"?
Pues bien, el 9 de junio fuimos a Pskov, Rusia. Hicimos la misma actuación (Con la excepción de Prokop, Anas y KArina, debido a varias circunstancias). Visitamos "La Escuela Regional de Artes",  que lleva el nombre de NA Rimsky-Korsakov. Leimos clásicos poemas en Ruso, extractos de novelas, prosa, canciones y baile. Ese día el público era especial, porque eran futuros actores que estaban miran a otros actores :)

Do you remember our Russian performance, in JORIK theatre, on the activity "Invitation to Poetry", set in the framework of "Latvian Days of Russian Culture"?
Well, on 9th of June we went to Pskov, Russia!! We did the same performance (With the exception Prokop, Anas and Karina, due to various situations). We visited "Pskov Regional College of Arts" named after NA Rimsky-Korsakov. We read Russian classics poems, excerpts from novels, prose, song and dance. That day the audience was special, because they were future actors watching to anothers actors :)

Let´s see our great statue " Joy of life" for the Festival Seven Hills in Rezekne.

We can describe it as simply awesome, look the photos and you will see it.

Vamos a ver nuestra genial estatua "Alegría de vivir" para el Festival siete colinas en Rezekne. Podemos describirla como simplemente increíble, mirar las fotos y lo veréis.

We want to give thanks to the Jorik theater, Kike is EVS here, and Gala, who works there and she helped us to paint the costumes and prepare us the day of the performance. Thanks EVS girls, Jana, Alexandra, Ania, who helped us to paint our faces and arms golden in the last minutes!

Queremos dar las gracias al Teatro Jorik, Kike es SVE aquí, y a Gala, quien trabaja aquí y nos ayudó a pintar los trajes y prepararnos para el día de la actuación. Gracias chicas SVE, Jana, Alexandra y Ania, quienes nos ayudaron a pintar nuestras caras y brazos de dorado en los últimos minutos.
